Overview
Job Board Integrations allow Positions created in Leadline to be posted automatically to third-party job boards — making Leadline the single source of truth for all job postings across every integrated platform. Integrations are available via API (real-time) or XML feed (time-based sync) depending on the job board.
What are Job Board Integrations and Why do They Exist?
Job Board Integrations are resources within Leadline that allow Positions to be posted automatically to third-party job boards. They exist so that Leadline can act as the single source of truth for all jobs across every job board your organization uses — eliminating the need to duplicate work. A Position only needs to be created and published once in Leadline for it to appear on all connected job boards automatically.
What Job Boards Does Leadline Integrate With?
Leadline currently supports integrations with the following job boards:

What is the Difference Between an API Integration and an XML Integration?
API Integration Job boards that integrate via API use direct API calls to post and update jobs in near real time. When a Position is published or updated in Leadline, changes are reflected on the job board almost immediately.
XML Integration Job boards that integrate via XML use a hosted XML feed file that contains position information such as position name, location, and job description. Job boards parse this file on a set time cadence — meaning new positions and updates to existing positions will not be reflected on the job board until the next time the feed is parsed.
Note: The "Last Synced" column on the Advertise > Job Board Integrations page indicates the last time a job board parsed the XML feed and applied changes.
Who Can Configure Job Board Integrations?
Company Administrators and users with the appropriate permissions can configure job board integrations.

Does Leadline Provide Job Board Accounts or Do I Need My Own?
Leadline does not provide job board accounts. You must have your own account with each job board you want to integrate with. Some job boards may require a paid or sponsored account to enable the integration — contact your Customer Success representative if you are unsure what account type is required for a specific job board.
Where are Job Board Integrations Configured?
Job Board Integrations can be configured in two places:
- Global Navigation — Advertise > Job Board Integrations
- Admin Hub — Admin Hub > Job Board Integrations

How do I Configure Positions to a Job Board Integration?
Configuration steps vary depending on the job board. Refer to the specific job board's product knowledge doc for full requirements and each configuration playbook for instructions.

When are Job Board Integrations Set Up?
Job Board Integrations are set up when they are enabled — either from the Admin Hub or from the Job Board Integrations page. There are no default integrations — all integrations must be enabled manually by a Company Administrator or a user with the appropriate permissions.
What do I do if I Can't Find a Job Board I Want to Integrate With?
There are two scenarios where a job board may not be visible in your account:
The job board exists in Leadline but hasn't been enabled for your account — job boards must be enabled by a Leadline representative before they are visible. Contact your Customer Success representative to have it enabled.
The job board is not currently supported by Leadline — if you want to integrate with a job board that Leadline does not currently support, contact your Customer Success representative to request the integration. New job board integrations can be requested at any time.
When are Jobs Synced from Leadline to an Integrated Job Board?
Sync timing depends on the integration type:

Are Job Board Integrations Instant?
Enabling a job board integration within Leadline is instant — the XML feed or API connection is created on Leadline's side immediately. However, the integration is not fully active until the required configuration is completed on the job board's side as well. The time it takes to complete setup depends on the job board you are integrating with and how quickly their configuration process can be completed.
Note: Jobs will not begin syncing to a job board until the setup on the job board's side is fully configured and active.
What Happens if a Position Does Not Meet a Job Board's Requirements?
If a Position does not meet a job board's requirements, it will not be posted to that job board and any changes will be omitted from the feed. There are a variety of reasons why a Position may not meet job board requirements — refer to the specific job board's product knowledge doc for a full list of requirements.

What Happens to a Job Board Posting if a Position is Unpublished or Closed in Leadline?
If a Position is unpublished or closed in Leadline, it will be removed from the job board entirely. For API integrations, the removal is near real-time. For XML integrations, the posting will not be removed until the next time the job board parses the XML feed.

Can the Same Position Be Posted to Multiple Job Boards Simultaneously?
Yes. A single Position can be posted to multiple job boards at the same time — as long as the Position meets the requirements for each integrated job board.
