Overview
The Website Widget is an embeddable iframe provided by Leadline that allows organizations to display and manage their open Positions directly on their careers page — without requiring a website manager to manually add or remove job postings every time a Position changes. It gives organizations full control over their public-facing job listings directly from Leadline.

What Does the Website Widget Look Like to Candidates?
The Website Widget can be displayed in two styles:
- List View — Positions are presented as a traditional list
- Table View — Positions are presented in a table format
Regardless of the style selected, the following Position metadata can be configured to show or hide on each listing:
- Compensation
- Date Published
- Job Type
- Position Location

How do Positions Appear on the Website Widget?
Each Position is displayed as a listing on the widget. Depending on what metadata is configured to display, the following information is presented to candidates:
- Position Name — Required
- Location — Optional
- Job Type — Optional
- Salary — Optional
- Date Published — Optional
- Call to Action Button — Required

Who Configures and Manages the Website Widget?
Only Company Administrators can configure and manage the Website Widget.

Where is the Website Widget Configured?
The Website Widget is configured in Advertise > Job Feeder > Website Widget.

How do You Set Up the Website Widget?
By default, all Leadline accounts have the Website Widget available. The widget can be configured in a variety of ways before being installed on your careers page.

When do Positions Get Added to the Website Widget?
Positions are added to the Website Widget automatically as soon as they are published — provided they meet any configured Predefined Filter criteria. If no Predefined Filters are configured, all published Positions will appear on the widget.

What are Predefined Filters and Why do They Exist?
Predefined Filters are configurations that automatically hide select Positions from the Website Widget based on defined criteria. They exist so that organizations can control which Positions are displayed publicly without having to manually manage each one.
For example, an organization with both internal and external job openings could configure a Predefined Filter using a Position Tag of "Internal or External" set to "External Only" — ensuring that only externally designated Positions appear on the widget.

Can Candidates Search for Positions on the Website Widget?
Yes. The Website Widget includes a search bar that allows candidates to search for Positions by name. Search Tags can be assigned to Positions to improve discoverability when candidates search using terms that differ from the official Position name.

Can Candidates Filter Positions on the Website Widget?
Yes. Candidates can filter Positions displayed on the Website Widget using filter options that are configured by administrators. Position Tag filters can also be enabled to allow candidates to filter by specific Position Tag categories.

Can I Have Multiple Website Widgets Across Different Pages?
Yes. Multiple Website Widgets can be installed across different pages of your website. However, only one Website Widget can be embedded per page — multiple widgets cannot be placed on the same page simultaneously.
What Happens to a Position on the Website Widget if it is Closed or Unpublished?
If a Position is closed or unpublished in Leadline, it is automatically removed from the Website Widget. You do not need to reinstall or reconfigure the widget when removing Positions — the change is reflected automatically.

Does the Website Widget Affect Reporting?
Yes. All Submissions generated through the Website Widget are attributed to the "Company Website" Channel Tracking Link in Leadline's reporting. This allows organizations to track how many candidates applied directly through their careers page.
