Unpublish Position

Overview

This playbook covers how to unpublish an existing Position. A Position must exist and be currently published before this playbook can be completed.

Note: Unpublishing a Position will disable all associated Channel Tracking Links — candidates will no longer be able to apply to the Position until it is published again.

Method 1 — Unpublish by Closing the Position

Closing a Position automatically unpublishes it. This is the best method when a Position is no longer available because it has been filled.

Method 2 — Unpublish from the Position Drawer on the Positions Page

Best for: Unpublishing a single Position at a time.

1. Navigate to the Positions Page.
2. Click on a Position in the table to open the Position Drawer.
3. At the top right of the drawer, locate the dropdown displaying the current Published Status — "Published".
4. Click the dropdown and select "Unpublished" from the menu.

Your Position is now unpublished. All Channel Tracking Links associated with this Position will no longer accept new Submissions from candidates.

Method 3 — Unpublish via Bulk Actions on the Positions Page

Best for: Unpublishing multiple Positions at once rather than individually.

1. Navigate to the Positions Page.
2. Use the checkboxes on the left side of the table to select the Positions you want to unpublish.
3. In the bulk actions bar that appears, click the "Update Leadline Status" button.
4. Within the drawer, click the "Unpublish Positions" button.

Your selected Positions are now unpublished. All Channel Tracking Links associated with the selected Positions will no longer accept new Submissions from candidates.
