Assign Brand

Overview

This playbook covers how to assign a Brand to a Position in Leadline. There are two methods — assigning a Brand during Position creation, and reassigning a Brand to multiple Positions at once using the bulk action. This playbook covers Brand assignment only.

Note: You must have the appropriate create and edit permissions to complete this action. Contact your Company Administrator if you require access.

Method 1 — Assign a Brand When Creating a Position

1. Follow the steps in 401 - Create-Position to launch the Create Position modal.
2. Within the modal, locate the "Brand" input field.
3. Use the select input to choose the Brand you wish to assign to the Position.
4. Continue following the steps in 401 - Create-Position to complete the Position creation.

The Brand is now successfully assigned to the newly created Position.

Method 2 — Assign a Brand to Multiple Positions at Once (Bulk Action)

This method is best for updating the Brand of multiple Positions at one time.

1. Navigate to the Positions page.
2. Use the checkboxes to select all Positions you want to reassign to a new Brand.
3. In the bulk actions bar that appears, click the "Update Brand" button.

Note: The "Update Brand" button may be hidden in the "More" dropdown depending on the width of your browser window.

4. A modal will appear. Use the select input to choose the new Brand to assign to all selected Positions.

Note: Only enabled Brands will appear in this list. See 2304 - Enable-Brand for instructions on re-enabling a Brand that was previously disabled.

5. Click "Save" and confirm the action by typing the number of Positions you are updating in the confirmation field.

Note: Depending on the number of Positions being updated, please allow a few minutes for the changes to take effect.

The selected Brand is now successfully assigned to all chosen Positions.
