Delete Submission
Overview
This playbook covers all supported methods for deleting a Submission in Leadline. Submissions can be deleted on both desktop and mobile devices. You must have the appropriate permissions to delete Submissions.
Note: All deletion methods require the user to type "Delete" in the confirmation input to enable the delete button and complete the action.

Desktop Methods
Method 1 — Ellipsis Menu in the Submission Drawer
When viewing the Submission drawer, click the ellipsis (…) button at the top right of the drawer — located next to the Progress and Reject buttons. A dropdown menu will display. Click "Delete Submission" at the bottom of the dropdown to launch the Delete Submission modal.
Best for: Deleting a single Submission from the current Position.
Method 2 — Bulk Actions Bar
When viewing Submissions in either Kanban or List view, use the checkboxes to select the desired Submissions to display the bulk actions bar. Click the "Delete Submission" button within the bulk actions bar to launch the Delete Submission modal.
Note: Depending on your screen width, the Delete Submission option may be hidden under the "More" dropdown at the end of the bulk actions bar.
Best for: Deleting multiple Submissions at once from the current Position.
Method 3 — All Submissions Tab in the Submission Drawer
When viewing the Submission drawer, navigate to the "All Submissions" tab. This tab displays all Submissions stored under the candidate's profile across all Positions. Within each Submission card, click the delete icon to launch the Delete Submission modal.
Best for: Deleting a single Submission for a candidate from a different Position than the one currently being viewed.
Method 4 — All Submissions Tab in the Candidate Profile
When viewing the Candidate profile, navigate to the "All Submissions" tab. This tab displays all Submissions stored under the candidate's profile across all Positions. Within each Submission card, click the delete icon to launch the Delete Submission modal.
Best for: Deleting a single Submission for a candidate from a different Position while working within the Candidate profile.

Mobile Methods
Method 5 — Ellipsis Menu in the Submission Drawer
Navigate to a Submission within a Position. At the top right of the screen, tap the ellipsis (…) icon to display a dropdown menu. Tap "Delete Submission" at the bottom of the dropdown to launch the Delete Submission modal.
Best for: Deleting a single Submission from a mobile device.

Can You Delete Multiple Submissions at Once on Mobile?
No. Only one Submission can be deleted at a time on a mobile device. To delete multiple Submissions at once, use the Bulk Actions Bar on desktop.
