Export Position View
Overview
This playbook covers how to export Position data from a View as a CSV file. There are two export methods — exporting the full View or exporting only selected Positions.
→ See 134 - Position-Views for full product knowledge on Position Views and export behavior.
Method 1 — Export the Full View
Exports all Positions currently displayed in the active View as a CSV file, respecting all applied filters, visible columns, column order, and sort preferences.
- Navigate to the Positions Page and open the View you want to export.
- Ensure any filters you want applied to the export are active.
- Click the "Export View" button — located at the top right of the table.
- A CSV file is generated and downloaded automatically.
The exported CSV contains one row per Position and columns reflecting the active View configuration.
Method 2 — Export Selected Positions
Exports only the Positions you have selected from the table, while preserving the same columns, column order, and formatting as the current View.
- Navigate to the Positions Page and open the View containing the Positions you want to export.
- Use the checkboxes on the left side of the table to select the Positions you want to export.
- In the bulk actions bar that appears, click the "Export Selected Positions" button.
- A CSV file is generated and downloaded automatically.
The exported CSV contains one row per selected Position and columns reflecting the active View configuration.
