Create Position Tag

Overview

This playbook covers how to create a Position Tag in Leadline. You must be a Company Administrator to complete this action.

How Do You Create a Position Tag?

  1. Click on the avatar displaying your initials at the top right of the screen to display the dropdown menu.
  2. At the bottom of the dropdown, click "Admin Hub."

Note: If you are not a Company Administrator, the Admin Hub option is hidden from you.

  1. Within the Admin Hub, navigate to the "Position Tags" tab.
  2. Click "Create Tag" to launch the Create Position Tag modal.
  3. Configure the following fields:

Make Tag Mandatory Toggle this on if you want users to be required to assign an Option for this tag when creating a new Position. When enabled, a Position cannot be created until an Option within this tag is selected.

Position Tag Name Enter the name of the Position Tag — this is the category or datapoint label (e.g. "Department", "Internal or External").

Option Names Enter the selectable values users will choose from when assigning this tag to a Position (e.g. "Marketing", "Operations", "Finance").

Option Order Set the order in which the Options will appear in the dropdown when assigning the tag to a Position.

  1. Click "Save" to create the Position Tag.

Your Position Tag is now ready to be assigned to Positions.
